Play can be a way of exploring, a moment of surprise, or a small invitation to try again. We like to think of it as a little breathing room in an otherwise ordinary day.

Before adding a feature, it helps to ask what someone is really trying to do. Sometimes the answer is a new tool. Sometimes it is a clearer sentence. And sometimes it is simply one less thing in the way.
